OjimaLifeWorks
co-founders Gilbert & Mary Lou Cruz traded in the corporate life for the
road less traveled.
Remaining true to yourself takes a great deal of courage and
determination. It involves taking risks and living with the results of
independent choices. For those who live with a true heart and only the
best intentions, life has a way of rewarding your single-minded
endeavors with levels of awareness, we are are living proof...
Louise and I are in the middle of working on a huge project right now;
perhaps when our lives are all said and done decades from now, we can
look back and say that it was the most significant project of our lives.
We are holding and creating a vision for the New Way of Life Spiritual
Center.
This is a center that will bring it all together and make it happen,
where we can hold gatherings, picnics and barbecues, have circles and
discussion groups every day if we want, plus it will be a place where we
can hold meetings, workshops and weekly celebrations. We envision a
large property that will have a lounge area, where folks can hang out
and socialize with like-minded friends.
Thursday evenings are
OjimaReiki
empowerment circles, currently held 7:-8:30
p.m. each week at the Hollywood Beach Culture & Community Center on A1A. This
offers us the opportunity to get out of the tasks of everyday life
by doing what we enjoy most, sharing our energy by empowering others to
grow by taking control of their thinking, which in turn allows them to
create a healthy lifestyle. You can imagine how much more of the same
will continue to manifest in our lives. I can honestly say this is the
most fun I have had in months - watching my friends taking control of
their lives and as an outcome looking refreshed and enjoying creating
their new lifestyles. They have chosen no longer to be a bystander in
life but instead, be the creator of their new way of life.
At time, in the middle of the empowering circle, I catch myself, and
realize how good and self-empowering this feels to me and the thoughts
about my project are nowhere near my mind.
Do you have goals? Well, there is nothing wrong with pursuing them
diligently and even putting in a lot of hours to tackle your task. On
the other hand, I have learned a valuable lesson in the last few months
- the human mind and body isn't designed to perform at a high level
without breaks. Now, hear me out... don't go taking a break now and do
it guilt-free because I told you that you should if you have been in
goof-off mode for the last few weeks. On the other hand, take time to
recharge your batteries.
On Tuesday
evenings, we have an ongoing discussion and study group that talks about
energy, theories, books and topics of interest.
Thank you for visiting
