Rev. Mary
Lou Cruz,
as founding partner in the
OjimaLifeWorks, has set an intention to build a spiritually minded
community so that others may benefit from her extensive esoteric
study.
Her quest to unravel
questions like "Who am I?" took her to the writings of Rene
Descartes, Carl Jung, Og Mandino, Victor Frankl, Rollo May, Eric Berne and
most importantly James Allen, whose As a Man Thinketh
became the base of her belief system.
Circumstances
don't create people; people create circumstances, became her
motto. In the mid-1970s, she graduated from The Silva Method of self-hypnosis and ESP. About the same time,
A Course in Miracles crossed her path and she became a
life-long student of its philosophy. She also adopted Gerald
Jampolsky's tenets for Attitudinal Healing as a way of
life.
She has lived in
Puerto Rico and Brazil and is drawn to Native American
wisdom, as well as other indigenous belief systems. Hands-on
workshops on various healing and spiritual modalities include
intensive study with Joan Borysenko, John Perkins, Alberto
Villoldo and Barbara Brennan.
Currently, Toltec wisdom and the writings of Don Miguel Ruiz and
Susan Gregg have magnified
her spiritual evolution. She considers The Secret a
profound educational tool. Plus, scientific evidence as
presented by Lynn McTaggart in The Field, along with
other recent quantum phsyics findings, catapulted her quest for
metaphysical Truth to a new level.
"The mind-body
connection has been overlooked by many in the mainstream media.
When we break it down, life is very simple and everything and
everyone respond to the same universal principles. How we
respond differently to the same stimuli is determined, for the
most part, by our conditioning. Once we become aware and accept
that, we start to change and grow. We expand and evolve just
like the universe when we allow our minds to unlearn old
programming."
If followed, Mary
Lou's simple 7-step process - from Awareness to Actualization can help turn
possibilities into probabilities. With a shift in perception, or energy
adjustment, people can learn how to consciously
cultivate joy in their lives.
Additionally, Mary Lou is a Master/Teacher of the
OjimaReiki
system.
